Women On Wheels® Motorcycle Association was founded in 1982 for the express purpose of uniting women motorcycling enthusiasts for recreation, education, mutual support, recognition, and to provide a positive image of motorcycling.

We are dedicated to furthering the interests of all women who ride, whether on their own machine, as a passenger on someone else's, or as a future motorcyclists.

We have riders in their teens, eighties, and every age in between. WOW's focus is on the member and the lifestyle of motorcycling rather than on the machine. WOW members ride every make and model of motorcycle imaginable - it's not what we ride that's important, but that we ride!

WOW is Inclusive:
Women On Wheels® is an all-inclusive organizationn that embraces all women riders along with their families, friends, and significant others as support members and child membes

WOW Chapter Participation:
Once you become a member of WOW you can participate with as many local chapters as you choose. There are WOW chapters throughout the United States. Chapter members experience the fun and excitement of riding together, supporting each other, socializing, sharing adventures, and helping special charities...all the while projecting a brighter image of motorcylcing.

Promoting a Positive Image:
Promoting a positive image of motorcyclists to the nonmotorcycling public is a top priority for WOW members. Women On Wheels® was awarded the Hazel Kolb Brighter Image Award in 1993 by theAmericann Motorcyclist Association - an honor of which we are especially proud.

WOW Magazine:
The WOW Magazine - appropriately titled Women On Wheels® - is comprised of stories and articles written by the membership and by experts in the motorcycling industry. The magazine also contains information about new products of interest to women and happenings throughout the motorcycle industry.

WOW International Ride-In:
The Women On Wheels® Internationnal Ride-In is a three day event held at a different location each year. Members come from coast-to-coast, points in between, and around the world to meet old friends. The Women On Wheels® International Ride-In welcomes non-members as well.
